  1. Too bad Mr Kobrehel doesn’t know much about the geography. Broad Ripple is 8 blocks north … and a disaster. Differentiation FROM Broad Ripple would be not only correct, but useful to his business.

    1. Mark L. This area is definitely Broad Ripple. Some refer to it as SoBro, but it is Broad Ripple non-the-less. The 54th & Monon area has grown and thrived in recent years. Try thinking positively, please.

    2. 1.) I welcome this. I think it will be a fantastic addition to the community. 2.) I do think you should be a little bet more positive in regards to Broad Ripple, but hey to each their own. 3.) You are right. This is not technically Broad Ripple. It’s actually at the intersection of the Canterbury, Meridian-Kessler and the Keystone Monon Neighborhoods. Yep – SoBro! The actual building itself lies within Canterbury. So – perhaps they should name it: “Breadworks on the Monon”? Simple suggestion. But in all – hoping that it is a true success. Onward Peeps.

    3. Mark, you reek of Hamilton County. Do us a favor and stay north of 96th street, Broad Ripple doesn’t need you.

  2. This will be a great addition to the area. Nic Kobrehel knows wine and food. It would be unwise to underestimate the wisdom of Greg Hardesty in who he chose as a General Manager. The success rate of his hand-picks speaks for itself. This is not an easy time in the food and beverage industry and I applaud Nic Kobrehel and Breadworks management for their endeavor.
