So, a couple months ago, I bought a hunk of Italian Parmesan cheese at Costco, and it cost me about $5 more than I was used to paying for it. How I am going to get that $5 back?
Once again, the American people have gotten thoroughly hosed by Trump’s lies.
You suckers remember “Gas will be $2 a gallon” too.
Let me get this right. Companies paid the tariffs and in turn raised prices to offset them which were then paid by consumers and now those same companies are getting refunds for the tariffs they paid plus get to keep the increase on prices paid by consumers?
Can’t wait to see record revenues yet again to prop up this make believe economy and our tax dollars used to pay for these refunds.

I’m just not sure there are any examples of a democratic politician with the rap sheet of chaos that Trump can claim. Even compared to Trump 1.0, this version is orders of magnitudes more chaotic. He isn’t even trying to do any of the good stuff he promised anymore. Just relentlessly tweeting insanity.
The way the tariff issue was approached was wrong.
But make no mistake, The U.S. was being taken advantage of by The European Union and China.
A better trade agreement needed to be addressed.
The real blame lies with Congress
As a small business owner, I had to pay these illegal tariffs. It was a line item on my customs forms. Fast forward, SC declared them illegal and they must be returned. Now, as the small business, I have to APPLY to get the money back? They know exactly who they charged and for what line item. Run a report and refund to the account you withdrew from. This is absurd and again, costly to taxpayers and adds hardship to those that paid them.
