  1. IN Republicans are such a joke. We already have a study showing where the two most profitable places for a new casino will be.

Simply create two new licenses that cost $250M each. One for Marion County, one for Allen County. Give a $100M discount to any existing casino looking to relocate. Done.

Anything casino resolution that is more complicated than that is akin to wading through the swamp.

  2. IN doesn’t need more casinos. This is being discussed because one (Rising Sun) is failing. The legislature should focus on amenities that attract residents not rif-raf. Reminder: residents bring income, sales and property tax dollars!

    1. And well-paying jobs bring residents with significant disposable income to spend on dining out, goods and services that are taxed, and big houses that generate plenty of property tax.

  3. The morality of this is, (IMO) if you don’t want to gamble, don’t.
The fact that Indy doesn’t have a casino with convention and visitors is absurd and we have the petty small town legislators to thank.
If it ever happens, rest easy knowing that they will be first in line at the dinner table of profits.
