The mobile passport connects the city’s basketball culture with the All-Star festivities, inviting fans to visit 25 different downtown locations including Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields and Morris Bicentennial Plaza, along with several murals honoring local basketball legends like Tamika Catchings and Tyrese Haliburton. The pass also offers deals and discounts at each of the 25 locations.
To sign up for the Indy Hoops Pass, go to Visit Indy’s website. Fans can use the pass, which will be available from July 17-20, to scan QR codes found on the ground at each of the locations.
Each scan earns fans 100 points—which can be redeemed for prizes such as Indy ’25 stickers (300 points), T-shirts (1,000 points), and an entry to win one of 10 basketballs signed by Indiana Fever All-Stars Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell (1,500 points)
For 2,500 points, fans can enter to win two suite tickets to a 2026 Indiana Fever Game (five winners will be selected).
How the Indy Hoops Pass works
After signing up for the free pass online, an automated text and email are sent to fans’ phones with a link to the pass. It can then be added to a phone’s home screen as a shortcut for quick access. No app is required to access the pass.
Upon visiting a participating Indy Hoops Pass location and finding a QR code onsite, fans can open their pass, tap the “Check In” button, then use their phone’s camera to scan and earn points.
To redeem points for stickers and shirts, fans can visit The Index, the city’s official visitor center, at 201 S. Capitol Ave., Suite 120, across the street from the Indiana Convention Center.
