    1. Dominic M. – Isn’t this the guy who smeared a great Indianapolis chef just as he was doing yet another super-cool thing in our city?

    2. Well Ritchie boy, it isn’t smearing because he did it. Who would want to eat food from someone who celebrates a murder?

    3. Stupid argument.

Charlie Kirk said empathy is for the weak.

Shouldn’t have even made headlines for

  1. Unfortunately, yes. He’ll attract people of similar “taste” and that’s the American way. It isn’t my cup of tea to support such people but to each his own.

    1. Almost as bad as voting for a guy that led people to break into the Capital and beat the crap out of people defending the Capital that led to their deaths.

  2. I, for one, will miss the unique dishes that I have had the opportunity to enjoy…that have turned Milktooth into one of our favorite spots. Can’t tell you how many times I looked at a menu item and thought “how will I be able to like THAT”, only to try it and learn that it was FABULOUS!!! I think we will lose something when that changes.

  3. Would like someone to post a link on the Kirk stuff. Google appears to have it suppressed, and if true, another example of how Nate and the gang are controlled by their political masters. As always, try to imagine if the rolls were reversed and a restaurant owner was celebrating the murder of a prominent Democrat. Nate would run the headline daily

Politics aside, I did see the rambling social media post. It’s hilarious to hear someone say “yes, because of our huge success, we are completely changing our concept”. Also, considering probably 80% of Indy doesn’t know what a meat and three is, it’s an odd choice

    1. As Mark Twain famously said to describe people like yourself.

“When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Cincinnati, because everything happens there 20 years later,” And then on to Indianapolis which is another 20 years behind

    2. What a weird post. First, let Mr. Kirk rest in peace, and give his family peace, too. I certainly disagreed with nearly everything he spouted off about, but I find it bizarre people who claim to respect him only use his memory as a political football to play games on the internet. It really shows how certain people only care about making their “point” and could not care less about other human beings.

Second, the whole country saw the “roles reversed” when Trump posted his bat-s*** crazy comment about Rob Reiner, and even Republicans like Majorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie were aghast. So, spare us the phony “what-aboutisms.”

Finally, I am quite sure at least 80% of the people in Indianapolis have sampled Southern cuisine, and there have long been restaurants in the city that serve Southern food, A meat in three is not something unusual, nor are most residents of Indy so provincial. People in the city happily eat everything from Thai to Italian to Ethiopian to burgers and fries and everything in between.

    3. JJ, what a stupid comment, but perfectly on brand for you “I disagree with something politically, so therefore an entire metro area is 40 years behind”, whatever that means.
You forgot the tired Democrat troupe “all the young people are going to leave!!”
      Do better

    4. Chris, you did your own “what-aboutism” what do Trump and Greene have to do with a local restaurant owner allegedly cheering someone’s murder? Notice I asked for sources of his comments, which I still haven’t seen.
For the record, I believe Trump is an embarrassment

Back to business, what is “weird” is a restaurant claiming a decade of success completely changing their format. “Our steakhouse has been so overwhelmingly successful that next week we are changing to a Thai menu” That doesn’t happen, which makes me think maybe the current model isn’t working
Lastly, I’m not remotely suggesting Indy is palate challenged, but I do think meat&3 is an odd and regional brand. Go ask 10 people not from Nashville TN what a meat&3 is, and let me know how that goes

    5. Go to hammer and nigels x feed. It’s on there. Brooks posted about Kirk and after getting tons of calls and emails to his restaurants realized his mistake and took down the post. Hammer and Nigel screen shotted it before he took it down. Also I believe it’s on their Facebook page. The Facebook page from hammer and Nigel had thousands of negative reactions to his posts

    6. Also just search this in Google and you will find it

hammer and Nigel Jonathan Brooks post

  4. Great news! Milk Tooth is such a fine establishment in the Indianapolis culinary community, and it is exciting to see the owners take a bold creative step with this new concept.

I am always glad to see a local business do well, and happy they are confident enough to take a risk with a new venture. Wishing them the best of luck!
