Letters: Parents have responsibility for reading, too

I appreciate the sense of urgency communicated in the editorial headlined “Legislature needs to lead to solve state’s literacy crisis” [Dec. 15].

But no mention of parents’ responsibility? Seems to me that parents ought to be a key to any “all-hands-on-deck approach.”
