    1. The lack of a Nuremberg-type trials after the Civil War was a very large mistake. The South will always revert to their past behaviors.

(They’re welcome to prove me wrong. Current events are just proving me right.)

  1. Wow, no opinion or positioning in that headline whatsoever, right Nate?
What the ruling actually affirmed was that political districts can’t be drawn according to race, even if it is Democrat approved racism.
No occupation is more deserving of contempt then a “journalist”

    1. This was a repost from the AP, Chuck. Once again, your level of intelligence is on full display.

    2. So the DOJ tells Texas they must draw new districts based on race and the Supreme Court allows those new districts … and the Supreme Court turns around in the same week and tells Louisiana they can’t do race-based districts.

The Roberts Court is a sham.

  2. There is no stopping the blue tidal wave incoming. The country has seen the chaos a Republican controlled federal government unleashes at home and abroad, and will reject it soundly. If anything, these desperate redistricting ploys will result in MORE democrats elected because they reduce R margins across the board. I can’t wait.

    1. Just wait until the elections are cancelled and/or Mike Johnson refuses to seat anyone, claiming fraud …

  3. Michael N: there is no blue tidal wave coming. The changes will be around the margins; the Democrats may take one or both houses, but with small majorities. Not enough to really drive an agenda, especially as they won’t be able to override a Presidential veto.
