Packed with tornado-relief supplies, a truck heads to Princeton in southwestern Indiana to provide assistance to families impacted by the Tri-State Tornado, the deadliest in U.S. history. On March 18, 1925, the tornado roared from Missouri to Indiana, killing 695 people in its 219-mile path and destroying half the town of Princeton. The Sears-Roebuck Agricultural Foundation, in cooperation with the Indiana Farm Bureau Federation, donated supplies to states struck by the tornado.
