  1. 41,000 is only 0.0063% of our population. Its averages only 820 deaths per state, and about 9 per county. Not much different than our murder rates.

    1. It’s still the highest in the developed Western World (it used to be France but then we started running over people at insane rates). Americans have terrible infrastructure combined with sprawl and terrible drivers.
