Towing firm part of Carmel drug bust

Three men have been arrested after a 10-month police investigation into a marijuana-trafficking ring that allegedly operated from a Carmel business. Daniel Vasquez, 45, co-owner of All American Towing & Recovery, has been charged with tax evasion and money laundering. Stephen “Aaron” Strong, 37, was charged with dealing and possession of marijuana, tax evasion and money laundering. Jesse Randle, 25, was charged with dealing and possession of marijuana. Investigators say several pounds of marijuana were seized during the investigation.

Fiat dealerships rolling back to metro area

Armed man robs north-side gas station

November 12, 2010

Indianapolis and Carmel police are searching for an armed man who robbed a gas station about 3:30 a.m. Friday at 96th Street and Keystone Avenue on the north side. Police said the suspect was wearing black from head to toe when he entered the Marathon station with a gun and demanded money from both cash registers before running away. Police estimate he took about $600.
