A federal judge Monday dismissed the case against one defendant named in a lawsuit filed by the parents of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer. Her parents filed the suit against Michael Beth, Jason Rosenbaum and Corey Rossman. The case against Beth was been dismissed, while Judge Tonya Walton Pratt will consider dismissal motions for Rosenbaum and Rossman by the end of the year. An Indianapolis mother was responsible for the death of her 2-year-old daughter, police said Tuesday. Brittney Massey, 23, was charged with murder, battery resulting in death and neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
