State steps up chase for data centers

Jam-packed with expensive equipment, data centers represent huge capital investments in a relatively small footprint. That
can mean steep property tax bills, though Indiana allows communities to exempt a portion of that tax. Jobs-hungry Indiana

-D.B. Klain Builders LLC is building out a 5,600-square-foot tenant space for Wonder Ware at 8870 Guion Road. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.

-Commercial Team Construction LLC has been selected to build an 8,000-square-foot addition for American Coated Products at 7436 Mayflower Park Drive, Zionsville. The project is scheduled to be completed in late December.

Baseball complex could bring area near coke plant back to life

that formerly housed a Citizens coke plant can be revived as a retail and industrial center.

-TMG Construction Management Inc. has been hired to rebuild a Texas Roadhouse restaurant at 1405 N. Shadeland Ave. that was destroyed by fire earlier this year. Construction of the 7,342-square-foot restaurant is scheduled to be completed in September.

-Shamrock Builders is building out space for D.L. Lowry Salon at 4907 N. Pennsylvania St. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
