Former Angie’s List COO J. Mark Howell is looking for ways to help the state’s advanced-manufacturing and logistics industries navigate a changing technology landscape.
Mark Howell, who has been Angie’s List’s chief operating officer since 2013, will start his new job at the manufacturing and logistics advocacy group in January.
The firm is aiming to boost revenue with the biggest reorganization of its sales force in its 20-year history. But some salespeople fear the changes will cut their compensation.
J. Mark Howell will join the Indianapolis-based public company March 1. Howell previously spent 18 years as an executive with BrightPoint Inc., which was acquired in October by California-based Ingram Micro Inc.
A longtime high-ranking executive for BrightPoint Inc. in Indianapolis will resign effective Jan. 18, three months after California-based Ingram Micro Inc. acquired the company.
