Former funeral director Marvin L. Boatright was found guilty of forgery Tuesday, but a jury failed to come to an agreement on 13 other felony charges, including corrupt business influence and theft. Boatright, who operated a funeral home at 21st and Illinois streets, was arrested last year on charges he falsified death certificates, stole funeral trust money and continued to do business after the state suspended his license. But now police are investigating her great-grandmother's apparently unrelated disappearance.
