Electric kart racing operator speeding into Noblesville

DePauw repeats as party school

The Princeton Review has released its annual list of top party schools, and DePauw University again finds itself in the top 20. The Greencastle school landed at No. 13 after ranking 12th last year. DePauw was the only university in Indiana on the list. The University of Iowa ranked No. 1. DePauw spokesman Ken Owen said the ranking is "both absurd and disappointing."
 

Stewart breaks leg in crash

Three-time NASCAR champion and Indiana native Tony Stewart is recovering in an Iowa hospital after breaking his leg. Stewart, 42, was competing in a sprint car race Monday night at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa when he crashed. He suffered a broken right tibia and fibula, and underwent surgery. Stewart will miss this week’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen, N.Y., where he has won five times.
 

Indy cop charged with drunken driving

August 6, 2013

An Indianapolis police officer was arrested early Tuesday morning on a drunken-driving charge. Morgan County police say Kevin Brown, 41, was pulled over in Mooresville about 5:30 a.m. His blood-alcohol level tested at 0.10. Brown was released about four hours later after posting bail.

Allison Pointe buildings hit with foreclosure suit
