  1. It sounds like the Department of Labor was given the authority to set the levels by congress. WHY did the judge rule that they couldn’t make changes?!?

    This sounds like another “conservative” Republican appointed judge making an arbitrary ruling.

  2. The most effective way to protest this ruling would be for salaried workers to go home when they reach the hours worked that should trigger over time pay rates . The purpose of over time pay rates is to increase cost to limit employers from over working existing employees rather than hiring more employees
