Man shot in his driveway

Indianapolis police are searching for a man who shot a homeowner in the Meridian Hills area Friday just before 6 a.m. Garnell Love, 59, said he was in his driveway at 73rd Street and Spring Mill Road preparing to leave for work when a man wearing a bandana over his face tried to rob him. Love was shot in the legs from behind after he fought back and ran for his garage.
 

City: $60M needed to make Circle more pedestrian-friendly

Fort Wayne’s ash tree removal bill nears $3 million

Fort Wayne’s parks board on Thursday approved a new $450,000 contract for the removal of almost 2,500 trees infected by the emerald ash borer. When those ash trees are gone, nearly 13,000 trees will have been cut down from city property.
