A 32-year-old Carmel man was critically injured Wednesday afternoon after police said his car hydroplaned, sending it into a spin before it collided with a pickup truck on the north side of Indianapolis. Emergency crews responding to the scene in the 4200 block of College Avenue at 4:10 p.m. found the driver of a black Audi unconscious and not breathing. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured, but his two passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting Wednesday morning in the 9400 block of Stouffer Court on the city’s east side. Investigators said the victim was a woman who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries to her arm and stomach. Police believe the woman knows the shooter.
Indianapolis Colts fans will be able to see their team take on the Cleveland Browns on TV this Sunday. The team announced Thursday that it had sold all tickets for the game to avoid a blackout. The sellout marks the 83rd in a row for Colts home games.
