James M. Carr of the Indianapolis law firm Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has been appointed to a 14-year term effective Jan. 1. His selection follows the recent appointment of Marion Superior Court Judge Robyn Moberly.

With work spanning from the seventh century to yesterday, this special exhibition includes more than 250 objects, including a 26-foot scroll. You think figurative representation doesn’t exist in Islamic art? You’ll think again after seeing this exhibit, which was launched at Brigham Young University’s Museum of Art.
