Profit at WellPoint Inc. fell nearly 6 percent in the third quarter, but the company added 63,000 new customers during the period. Indianapolis-based Celadon Group Inc. defied a difficult trucking market to report late yesterday that it boosted profit 12 percent in its first fiscal quarter ended Sept. 30.
